Share Your Caffeinated Conversations On Flickr & You May Hear From Me Soon

Months ago, I created the Caffeinated Conversations Flickr group (yes, the photos to your right are submissions) where coffee meets conversation; caffeinated drinks like tea are welcome too and for those who prefer decaf, that’s fine as well.

Caffeinated Conversations has less to do with caffeine and more to do with conversation and the places in which people commonly have them. While people initiate and immerse themselves conversations devoid of a drink everyday, coffee and the places in which it’s served have been known to stimulate them, and so Caffeinated Conversations it is.

With more than 170 members and 450 photos, it’s evident to me that people love coffee and conversation so much that those in the midst of conversation and others who watch them from afar like to capture them, upload them to Flickr, make them public, and share them with others. Collecting these moments in time gives meaning to the power of the act of conversation.

Moving forward, I will be initiating a conversation with at least one contributor to this group each month. In person, online, or by phone, my plan is it to learn what the act of conversation means to the person behind the camera, a little about the place in which the photo was taken, and then share with you why he or she submitted it to the group.

Happy Caffeinated Conversations!
